I began passing blood in my urine. That’ll scare the daylights outta ya.

Went in for a biopsy, stayed for the removal, never looked back. God is good!

Now every 6 months I get scoped. After the last check up Doc says every 12 for a scope every 6 for a pee test. Boy am I gonna miss getting scoped. The thing looks like a straw and feels like a sewer line.

New Tats...FINALLYViews: 725

I have waited and waited and the day finally came for more ink. Today’s make 19 and 2o, when they heal I will put them up.

One say “Per Ardua” or through difficulties
the second says “Momento Mori” or remember you are mortal.

Together it is encouraging to me to remember that no matter how tough this life is, it is fleeting and will one day be over.

The pics are in response to a request to see some of my art.

Hope everyone is blessed and loved, even in this trial.

Mac

Mac,
wow, cool tattos!
Thank you for your comments, you always just know what to say to cheer me up, you words are so strong and inspiring. I wanna give you a big hug!

Yuyu

Mac,
I have yet to post a response on your blog, although I’ve been reading your messages to others for quite some time. I just wanted to thank you for being such a positive energy within these blogs. You always somehow work humor and cheer into a tough situation such as cancer and the everyday dealings with this disease. You’ve brightened and enlightened many people’s lives and given hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak, and cheerfulness to the sad. Thank you for being a HUGE part of this blog. Take care.

I want a tattoo! Maybe the back of my neck. A small (very small) pink ribbon. Thank you for sharing Mac. Yuyu is so right. You letters are like poetry and give me so much strength. Thank you!

Hey Mac…

Great tats.

Thanks for all of your comments on my blog. They always offer encouragement and bring a smile to my face. I particularly enjoyed the response to my blog as I described myself as an “amazon” type girl trying to sleep on 2 chairs facing each other at the hospital with Wes. He got off on the leather skirt, thigh high boots and breast plates as well…lol.
Have a great one.

Mac,

Very Cool!

Melissa

Love the art, my daughter has several, I have none but my artist son designed one for the two of us to get as soon as I get the go ahead!

Those are great! Can’t wait to see the new ones!

Hi Mac; Just came to the computer to see your wonderful tatts. Well I have never had one but it looks like it might be painful but well worth the risk when the result is as great as yours. You know, everyone is commenting on you as a person, not the tatts. So guess you now know that all that pretty artwork is just a bonus to you and to us to look at. Hope you are doing well these days. Fall is coming upon us up here in Canada, so the leaves will soon be changing colour, which is always beautful but sad too. There is nothing like a fall day of colour with bright sunshine sprayed all over the trees, with a light but cooling breeze in the air. I love to take day trips at this time of year. Right now we have the Huge film festival in Toronto, so there is a lot of big wigs swishing their stuff on Yorkville. UGh… Talk to you later and as always, thanks for your ongoing support. Weezie

Dear Mac,

What a show off! These make my dots look like…well…dots. Seriously, though, I’m glad you finally got these done. What wonderful messages to keep with you. Be well.

Kathy

Mac,
That is great. I don’t have any tatoos because I am a big chicken. I am afraid it will hurt. Everyone is so right. You do always somehow know just the right thing to say to make us all feel better.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, MY FRIEND.
Hugs,
Joyce
